Tom firmly believes that musicality can be nurtured in anyone with the desire to learn and above all, that it should be fun! Alongside his busy performance schedule, Tom runs cajon and percussion workshops and teaches a small number of drum kit students.
He is a member of the innovative "Folkworld" team that have run workshops across the country, a summer school at Dartington and have worked with The Barbican and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Tom has also worked as a coach with Bedfordshire Music Service, at The Royal Academy of Music Junior Dept. and The Birmingham Conservatoire.
